Easter means, “He Lives”!  That statement appears all over the country on a button produced by the American Family Association.  We’re wearing them and sharing them in Big Bear to announce April 4th as Easter! This is when we celebrate that Jesus conquered death, the grave and the power of sin.  When faith is placed in the vicarious death of the Savior our sins are forgiven and life eternal begins.  This is the most promising fact of all life on earth. 

You might ask, “How can the death of ONE MAN lead to eternal life for all of us?”  The Bible says ‘Since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.  For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.” 1 Corinthians 15:21-22.  That’s it!

When Adam & Eve sinned against God, they passed that sin nature to every following generation (bummer DNA). Jesus came to conquer sin, die in our place and resurrect from the grave to hand us victory and eternal life.  We must agree that we can’t achieve this on our own! But we can ask Jesus to forgive our sin, come into our life and grant us HIS power to live a new life. That’s being born again without the sin DNA.

And that’s easy. Say ‘yes’ this year to His great gift of forgiveness, invite him into your heart and life and then join us in declaring
